We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager that will provide Health, Safety, and Environmental support across all site activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and best international practices. This role involves planning, coordinating, and controlling HSE operations, delivering timely advice to the Project Manager and line managers, and monitoring the effective implementation of the HSE Management System.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop site-specific HSE programs in accordance with company policies, client requirements, and relevant iOGP guidelines
• Submit HSE statistics and reports to corporate HSE in line with reporting procedures
• Monitor and enforce compliance with project HSE plans, policies, and approved procedures
• Implement and maintain training programs for all staff, including development of local HSE personnel
• Support the Project Manager in identifying HSE resource needs and maintaining the HSE organizational chart
• Coordinate with HR and medical staff for MEDEVAC operations
• Develop HSE performance improvement programs
• Ensure Job Safety Analysis is conducted and implemented per method statements
• Maintain legal registers and ensure compliance with HSE legal requirements
• Report and investigate incidents in a timely manner
• Conduct HSE audits and inspections
• Manage subcontractors in line with the project HSE plan
• Support risk management processes and issue monthly and final HSE project reports

Requirements

• Internationally recognized HSE qualification (BSC, NEBOSH, or equivalent), preferably with an engineering background
• Minimum 5 years of HSE management experience in the oil and gas industry
• Knowledge of ISO 45001/14001 and international HSE standards (iOGP, OSHA, BS/AS/NZ)
• Proficient in English (C2 level or equivalent) – German is a plus
• Effective interpersonal skills to foster a positive working environment
